Ukrainian authorities announced plans to introduce vaccination passports from July 1

Ukraine plans to launch vaccination passports from July 1. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov during a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Fedorov, the launch of vaccination passports in Ukraine will be synchronized with similar processes in the European Union.



EU authorities have announced the timing of the launch of trips on covid- passportswill be issued from 1 July. European Commissioner for Legal Affairs Didier Reynders said that in total three types of certificates will be available - for vaccination, for those who have been ill and a test certificate. Their issuance will be free. Certificates will be available in both paper and digital form.

The certificates will contain a digitally signed QR code. They can be used not only for international travel, but also within the EU member states. EU countries will not be required to impose any restrictions on certificate holders unless it is required for urgent medical reasons.
