In the Tambov region, the issue of introducing mandatory vaccination against covid-19 for certain groups of citizens, covering 60% of workers, will be considered. This was reported to RBC by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
“The issue <...> is under consideration and is planned for adoption in the third decade of July 2021,” the message says.

As noted in Rospotrebnadzor, since mid-May, the epidemiological situation in the region has been assessed as unfavorable. Since the second decade of May, the intensity of the increase in new cases of coronavirus infection has increased by 70%. At the same time, able-bodied people from 18 to 60 years old are most often ill. Among those infected with COVID-19, the working population is 65.3%.
According to the latest data, the total number of infected people in the region is 34,418 people. 593 people died from coronavirus during the entire period of the pandemic, 32.9 thousand were cured.
Earlier, the HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that RUSSIA would increase the number of regions where mandatory vaccination against coronavirus would be introduced for risk groups and certain professional groups.
