Regional authorities plan to further ease COVID restrictions

Some of the CORONAVIRUS restrictions may be eased in the Kaliningrad region. In particular, it is planned to soften the conditions for holding celebrations - banquets and weddings. This is stated in the published draft resolution of the regional government.

If the document comes into force, corporate parties, banquets and weddings can again be held in catering establishments. However, the limit on the number of guests will remain - no more than a hundred people. The filling of the halls should not exceed 50%, the distance between tables should be at least two meters.

Recall that the regional administration has recently adopted other concessions. Amusement rides are now allowed to operate in open street areas.

In addition, as RBC Kaliningrad reported, relaxations also affected bus excursions. Interiors of vehicles can be filled more than half. But only on condition that the guide and driver have been vaccinated. Tourists will need to present a negative PCR test for covid-19 or proof of vaccination.
