Residents of the capital should observe social distance, wear masks, gloves and, if possible, avoid unnecessary contacts. For the first time since January, covid-19 fell ill in Moscow in a daymore than 4 thousand people

Residents of the capital should strictly observe anti-epidemic measures against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of COVID-19. Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, told reporters about this.

“I appeal to all Muscovites with a request to observe social distance, wear masks, gloves, if possible, reduce their social contacts and, at the first sign of a cold, do not self-medicate, but consult a DOCTOR,” she said.

Rakova noted that the increase in the number of infections in the city is directly related to the non-compliance of citizens with existing restrictions. “Epidemiologists attribute the increase in the incidence to non-compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules. The mayor has already announced today that no restrictive measures, especially lockdowns, will be introduced. Under these conditions, the main burden falls on the medical staff,” she stressed.

Rakova added that, despite the similarity of the current situation with the increase in the incidence last year, now citizens have the opportunity to protect themselves from COVID-19. “This year we have the opportunity to protect ourselves and our loved ones from this terrible disease – everyone can get vaccinated. Various opportunities for vaccination have been created in Moscow, which can satisfy everyone. You just need to come and get vaccinated, ”the deputy mayor explained.
