Maciej Wonsik, Deputy Interior Minister of Poland, said that the authorities had frozen the assets of the Severstal company. it is reported by TASS.
"Poland complied with the sanctions of the European Union and froze the property of Russian oligarchs and entrepreneurs who are on the sanctions list," the minister said.
Maciej Wonsik noted that Severstal became the largest company whose property was frozen.
In total, Russian property worth about $33 million was frozen in the country, the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
