
St. Petersburg has achieved 100% herd immunity to covid-19 . This was stated by the first deputy of the city health committee Andrey Sarana on the air of the St. Petersburg TV channel.
“If we talk about herd immunity, we have reached 100%,” he said, citing data from the Ministry of Health. The official clarified that this number includes both those who have been ill and those who have been vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS.
According to Sarana, 3.14 million people have been fully vaccinated in the city, 240,000 people have been revaccinated.
According to Smolny data for February 14, 2.9 million people in St. Petersburg were fully vaccinated, 2.3 million citizens underwent primary vaccination (excluding the one-component Sputnik Light).
The Ministry of Health declined to comment on RBC.
