The authorities of St. Petersburg found it ineffective to issue money for vaccination

The St. Petersburg HEALTH Committee did not share the opinion that vaccination against covid-19should be encouraged with money or products. The vaccination incentive program is already operating in Moscow and some other regions

Such measures to stimulate vaccination, such as the issuance of food, money or discount cards, are considered ineffective in St. Petersburg . This was reported by Fontanka, said the HEAD of the city health committee Dmitry Lisovets.

Lisovets believes that the inefficiency of such methods can be understood by the example of other Russian regions.

“I won’t say who did it, but everyone understands. Such proposals give rise to a lot of questions: should those people who have been vaccinated earlier also count on some kind of discount? Lisovets noted.

In his opinion, the main incentives for vaccination should remain health concerns, the ability to reduce the level of restrictions for themselves, as well as safety for family members and loved ones.

Almost 14 million Russians received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine Society
