The St. Petersburg HEALTH Committee will check a video showing how patients with covid-19 were placed not in wards, but on mattresses on the floor of a corridor in one of the city hospitals. This was reported to RBC in the press service of the department.

“We can’t confirm anything from the video. An inspection will be carried out, ”they said.

A day earlier, a video from the hospital was published on the social network VKontakte, which shows that patients with COVID-19 were placed on mattresses on the floor of the corridor. The author claims that these are footage from the department for patients with CORONAVIRUS in the 15th city hospital of St. Petersburg.

On June 18, the HEAD of the interdepartmental working group on countering the spread of coronavirus in St. Petersburg , Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Shlyakhto said that the bed fund for patients with COVID-19 in St. Petersburg was 90% occupied.
