Employers need to vaccinate employees centrally or during working hours, and those who refuse to be vaccinated can be suspended from work

The Ministry of Labor and Rospotrebnadzor published clarifications on mandatory vaccination in work groups.

“The decrees of the chief state sanitary doctors of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation define categories (groups) of citizens, the so-called risk groups, who, by the nature of their professional activities, face a large number of people and must be vaccinated. When such decisions are made, citizens subject to vaccination have the right to refuse vaccinations, but in this case they must be suspended from their work for a period of epidemiological trouble, ”the document states.

Among the recommendations and requirements put forward by departments are the following:

The level of collective immunity at Russian enterprises must be ensured at the level of 80% of the payroll, including those who have been ill and vaccinated. If an employee refuses to be vaccinated without a valid reason, they should be suspended from work without pay or transferred to remote work, if possible. An employee can be given a day off to get vaccinated, and for those who have already been vaccinated, additional days of paid leave can be introduced. Employers must issue an internal order for vaccination and appoint responsible persons for the control of vaccination. Employees must be acquainted with the order under signature. The authorities should organize the vaccination during working hours or centrally.

Only one region remained in RUSSIA that vaccinated less than 10% of the population Society
