The authorities called the timing of the supply of oxygen in the hospital of Vladikavkaz

The hospital in Vladikkaz, where nine people died due to a malfunction in oxygen supply equipment, will resume oxygen supply on August 10 or 11, TASS reports, citing Soslan Tebiev, acting Minister of Health of North Ossetia.

“Oxygen supply will be restored today or tomorrow, specialists are working there,” Tebiev said.

On August 9, an oxygen pipe burst in a Vladikavkaz hospital. Because of this, nine patients died, who were in serious condition and were connected to a ventilator.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code (performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, negligently resulting in the death of two or more persons). The maximum penalty under this article is 10 years in prison. The head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin took control of the course of the investigation.
