Власти намерены вакцинировать новосибирцев на рынках и в торговых сетях

The Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk Region is considering the possibility of placing 33 new points in shopping centers, retail chains and markets in the region for the work of mobile medical teams that will vaccinate against COVID-19. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health of the region Elena Aksenova at a conference call on the implementation of the vaccination campaign in the Novosibirsk Region.

At the moment, there are 98 stationary and 10 mobile vaccination points in the Novosibirsk Region. In addition, 95 vaccination teams operate in the region.

Three vaccines are available in the Novosibirsk Region: EpiVacCorona, KoviVac, and Sputnik V. Since the start of vaccination, 418.32 thousand doses of drugs have been delivered to the Novosibirsk Region. 289,000 people completed the full course of vaccination against COVID-19. According to Aksenova, doctors vaccinate 6.1 thousand residents of the region every day. At the same time, the deputy minister added that "there is a task to further increase these rates."

Earlier, the Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region, Konstantin Khalzov, allowed tightening of anti-epidemiological measures by the fall of this year if the region continues to have low rates of vaccination.

In addition, Khalzov admitted the possibility of introducing mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 in the Novosibirsk region.
