Moroccan authorities have softened the conditions for the entry of Russians

From June 15, for citizens arriving from Russia to Morocco, more lenient conditions for entry began to operate. Russia is included by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad in Group A, where an improvement in the epidemic situation is recorded.

“The Moroccan authorities have taken further steps to ease restrictions on the movement of travelers wishing to enter the country,” the ministry said in a statement.

From Tuesday, Russians will need either a CORONAVIRUS vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 PCR test done within 48 hours to enter the kingdom.

The Moroccan foreign ministry stressed that holders of foreign vaccination certificates will receive the same benefits as recipients of drugs in Morocco.
