The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory will decide on the admission of tourists who have not been vaccinated at the resorts on July 8 - at a meeting of the operational headquarters, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the regional administration.

“The official decision will be made at a meeting of the regional operational headquarters, which is scheduled for July 8,” the regional government said.

Golikova promised new concessions for the settlement of tourists in the Kuban Society

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that from August 1, tourists will be able to check into boarding houses and hotels only if they have a vaccination certificate or a PCR test with a negative result. The unvaccinated will be given the opportunity to be vaccinated on the spot.

The regional administration confirmed that Golikova and the HEAD of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, had reached such agreements. Now the regional Ministry of HEALTH calculates the required amount of vaccine, focusing on the number of rooms booked for August-September.

In July, tourists over the age of 18 will still be able to check into a hotel with a PCR test. In August, these conditions were planned to be tightened and only those who had been vaccinated could be allowed to move in.

According to the operational headquarters, 202 new cases of covid-19 have been registered in the Kuban over the past day . In the regional administration, this figure was called a record. During the day, 21 people died in the Krasnodar Territory, 52 patients recovered.

Over the entire period of the pandemic, 52,265 COVID-19 infections, 45,497 recoveries and 3,461 deaths were recorded in the region.

As of July 2, more than 810,000 residents of the region have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
