
Residents of the Jewish Autonomous Region are again required to wear masks in public places, follows from the decree of the governor of the region, which is published on the government website.
On the recommendation of the regional Rospotrebnadzor, the governor canceled the June decree on the suspension of part of the coronavirus restrictions.
Thus, the authorities obligated residents of the JAO to wear masks in public places, places where goods are purchased, work, services are performed, in public transport, taxis, in parking lots and in elevators.
Heads of organizations that hold sports, cultural and entertainment events, transport passengers and luggage, as well as trade and catering, must monitor compliance with the mask regime.
On August 19, 29 people were infected with the coronavirus in the Jewish Autonomous Region, nine residents were hospitalized, 23 recovered, the operational headquarters reported. Herd immunity dropped to 8.8%.
