The authorities of Bashkiria sent subsidies to farmers for 5.7 billion in 2021

The total amount of funds allocated to support the farmers of Bashkiria in 2021 amounted to 5.7 billion rubles. The budget approved by the republic provided 2.8 billion rubles for these purposes, the regional authorities found an additional 2.9 billion rubles.

“Largely thanks to good state support, the agrarians of the republic, even in the difficult year 2021, continued to actively acquire equipment, breeding stock, seeds and fertilizers,” said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

This year, subsidies were provided in more than 40 areas. At the expense of the allocated funds, the farmers were able to reimburse the costs of purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment, mineral fertilizers, breeding animals, feed, and selling the main types of agricultural products. State support measures also extended to the construction and modernization of agricultural facilities. At the expense of the allocated funds, it was possible to compensate for the costs of insurance and lending, and partially compensate for the losses of agricultural organizations due to drought. Farmers and consumer cooperatives were able to take advantage of subsidies.

The volume of subsidies for agricultural producers in the republic has been increased since 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic . In 2019, the region allocated 5.3 billion rubles to support industry companies and entrepreneurs.

As RBC Ufa reported, in 2021 the federal budget provided 434 million rubles of subsidies to agricultural producers in Bashkiria affected by the drought. With these funds, they partially compensate for the cost of purchasing feed for dairy cattle. Another 64 million rubles were allocated to reimburse the costs of creating and modernizing new livestock dairy complexes, sheep MEAT farms and breeding and seed centers.
