From December 11, the Chinese Visa Service Center in Moscow will cancel the requirement for an appointment to apply for a visa, according to the website of the Chinese Embassy in RUSSIA.
Mandatory registration is being lifted "to further facilitate the travel of foreign citizens to CHINA."
Applicants must fill out a visa application form on the visa center website. After this, it is enough to bring the documents (including the application form) in printed form to the visa center. “There is no longer any need to set a date for submitting documents online ,” the embassy emphasized.
Those who have already made a preliminary registration must visit the center in accordance with the date of registration, the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
The Chinese visa service center in Moscow opened in August. It is located on Vasilisa Kozhina Street, building 1.
That same month, Russia and China resumed visa-free travel for tourists. Tourist groups of five or more people traveling along the same route or program will be able to travel to a neighboring country without visas.
