Italian visa centers in Russia started accepting documents for a tourist visa from March 1, according to the website of the center Almaviva.

The website of the country's Consulate General in Moscow lists two visa centers: VMS, which operates in Moscow, and Almaviva (Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Samara).

“Dear applicants, please note that from March 1, 2022, you can apply for a tourist visa to Italy, provided that you have all the necessary documents and reservations. Visa extension applications (Visto Rinnuovo) are accepted as usual until further notice from the Italian Consulate General.

However, the Visa Application Centers will be closed on March 7 and 8.

Interfax, citing VMS, reports that you can enter the country if you have a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) and a PCR or express test.
