Macron came to Moscow for talks with Putin

Talks between Russian and French Presidents Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron began in the Kremlin. As the press secretary of the President of RUSSIA Dmitry Peskov said earlier, the presidents will first have a working lunch, and after the talks they will hold a joint press conference. At the same time, the Kremlin does not expect “decisive changes” from the meeting, Peskov noted.

Before the talks began, Macron said he hoped to find a joint answer to security issues for Russia and Europe in order to avoid war. He noted that he had several telephone conversations with Vladimir Putin, European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
