Vietnamese automaker VinFast will seek funding from the US government to support its expansion in the country. it is reported by REUTERS.

Earlier, on April 7, the company's management sent an application for an initial public offering (IPO) to the US securities regulators. The size and price range of the placement has not yet been determined.

According to sources, VinFast also plans to allocate about $4 million to build its plant in North Carolina.
