On Monday, May 16, residents of the capital will expect a drop of 10-13 degrees Celsius during the daytime, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, told TASS.

The forecaster noted that such a temperature is 3-4 degrees below the climatic norm. “From Monday, as they say, a new life begins. There will be a drop in temperature to 13-14 degrees during the day, and on Tuesday - already up to 10-12 degrees. Such a temperature background is 3-4 degrees below the norm, ”he said.

According to Vilfand, Moscow will be in the rear of the cyclone during this period, because the weather will be rainy, and atmospheric pressure will be 8-10 mm of mercury below normal.

The meteorologist earlier gave a forecast that the climatic years in Moscow will come at the end of May. “According to forecasts, hot weather is expected at the end of this month, when the climatic summer begins and the average daily temperature will constantly exceed plus 15 degrees,” the forecaster said.
