Venezuela registers Sputnik Light vaccine

In Venezuela, a one-component vaccine against CORONAVIRUS "Sputnik Light" was registered. This was reported on the vaccine website with reference to the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF, Russia's sovereign wealth fund) announces the approval of the Russian single-component vaccine Sputnik Light against coronavirus by the Ministry of HEALTH of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Previously, Sputnik Light was registered in Angola and Bahrain. In RUSSIA, Sputnik Light was registered on May 6. The vaccine is the first component of Sputnik V. The single-component vaccine is 79.4% effective, RDIF said.
