The UK authorities have named countries and territories arriving from where from May 17 will not need to go into mandatory quarantine. The list is published on the government website.
It includes 12 countries and territories. These are Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Brunei, Iceland, the Faroe Islands (Denmark), Gibraltar, the Falkland Islands and Israel.
Those arriving from there in the UK will be required to take a CORONAVIRUS test twice: before arrival and on the second day after arrival. If the test result is negative, quarantine will not be required.
The indicated 12 countries and territories, for those arriving from where quarantine will be lifted, are included in the green list. In addition to it, there are also yellow and red lists. This “colored” three-level system of restrictions for entering the UK authorities was introduced based on the situation with covid-19 in countries around the world.
