"Vector" explained the cases of covid-19 after vaccination Society

In April, the DIRECTOR of Vector, Rinat Maksyutov, explained that it was normal for some volunteers to fall ill with COVID-19 after being vaccinated with EpiVacCorona, but it also happens with other coronavirus vaccines. According to him, this is happening because 42 days have not passed since the first injection of the vaccine, and the patients have not yet had time to form a full-fledged immune response. The fact that after vaccination you can get sick was also discussed in Rospotrebnadzor. The department also noted that the vaccine itself cannot lead to the disease.

As the virologist, Professor of Moscow State University, DOCTOR of Biological Sciences Alexei Agranovsky explained to RBC, the likelihood of getting sick after vaccination increased after strains with increased contagiousness appeared, such as British or Indian. But the disease will proceed in a weakened form and it will be possible to avoid serious consequences, the doctor noted.
