Vaccinations against a new CORONAVIRUS infection will be included in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations. After the adoption of the federal law, it will be necessary to allocate 75.8 billion rubles for its implementation.

The government has submitted a bill to the State Duma to include the covid-19 vaccine in the national preventive vaccination calendar. Its text is published in the Duma electronic database.

Amendments will be made to the law "On Immunoprophylaxis of Infectious Diseases". Together with the coronavirus vaccine, the list of medicines included in the national immunization calendar includes vaccinations against hepatitis B, diphtheria, whooping cough, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus, tuberculosis, mumps, hemophilic infection, pneumococcal infection and influenza.

The explanatory note to the bill says that it was developed in order to resolve issues related to determining the sources of financial support for mass vaccination. The purchase of drugs against COVID-19 will be carried out at the expense of the federal budget.
