In Bashkiria, against the background of new restrictions on COVID-19, which began to operate on October 4, vaccination has accelerated. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister - HEAD of the Republican Ministry of HEALTH Maxim Zabelin at a meeting of the infection control headquarters.
“People have started to get actively vaccinated. In the last 24 hours alone, we record an increase of 18% — 23,784 people came to the vaccination points. In total, 1,338,992 people were vaccinated with the first component. 1,221,742 people have fully completed vaccination,” he said.
At the same time, an increase in the incidence is recorded in the republic. According to the latest data, the number of infected people was 72,269.
As RBC Ufa reported, anti-covid restrictions apply to residents of the republic over 18 years old. They are introduced in stages. From October 4, without a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of COVID-19 postponed within six months or a negative PCR test, it is impossible to visit state and municipal museums, exhibition halls, libraries, theaters, cinemas, concert halls, houses of culture, mass physical culture and sports events . From October 12, without the above documents, it will be impossible to use intercity transport and the Orlan commuter train, visit shopping centers and private cultural institutions. From October 18, documents will be required to visit baths, saunas, solariums, fitness centers, swimming pools, catering establishments (with a capacity of 50 or more people), beauty salons, spa, cosmetic and massage salons. From October 27, a certificate of a negative PCR test will be invalid. Public places will remain accessible only to vaccinated or recovering from COVID-19 citizens.
“The increase in those wishing to be vaccinated suggests that we are doing the right thing. Only with the help of vaccination will we be able to achieve herd immunity,” said the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov.
