In Yakutia and Primorye, they decided to introduce QR codes for visiting public places

The authorities of Yakutia have introduced QR codes necessary for visiting public places, the decree was signed by the HEAD of the republic, Aisen Nikolaev, according to the website of the regional government.

According to the document, the list of places for visiting which will require the presentation of a QR code about vaccination or illness will be expanded in stages. So, from October 20, you will need it to visit theaters, museums, cinemas and other cultural institutions. Then, from October 25, the QR code will be asked in fitness clubs, gyms, swimming pools and other sports facilities. From November 1, the use of codes will also be extended to catering establishments - cafes, restaurants, canteens and banquet halls.

Also, the requirement of QR codes was introduced by the authorities of Primorsky Krai. From November 15, the code will be needed to visit catering, culture, physical education and sports establishments.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the country's authorities were ready to take decisive measures to combat the CORONAVIRUS infection if the infrastructure could not cope with the flow of patients. When asked if there is a conditional line after which the Kremlin is ready to take drastic measures, Peskov replied that it was not the line.
