A cat was rescued in Kharkiv after spending two weeks in a destroyed house

Rescuers in the analysis of the rubble of a residential building destroyed two weeks ago in Kharkov found a cat, according to the TELEGRAM channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The cat was hiding behind a sofa in an apartment on the fourth floor of a building in the Industrial District of the city.

“Fluffy was scared and completely dirty. In addition, the cat spent two weeks in a closed, ruined house. Rescuers pulled the frightened animal from under the rubble and handed it over to one of the residents of the house. At the moment, the cat is safe, fed and waiting for its owners, ”the message says.

In the Kharkiv region, they are also rescuing animals from the eco-park located in the Dergachev district of businessman and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Feldman. According to UNIAN, on April 5, Feldman reported that enclosures and infrastructure were destroyed there, because of which the owners had to think about how to transport the animals, or they would have to be euthanized.

The only family of tapirs in Ukraine and eight kangaroos were evacuated from the ecopark. Odessa, Lutsk, Rivne, Kyiv and other zoos declared their readiness to accept other animals from the ecopark.
