QR codes introduced in Khakassia to visit fitness centers and cinemas

Due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus in Khakassia, new restrictions are being introduced when visiting public places from October 12, head of the republic Valentin Konovalov said on Instagram.

“From October 12, citizens can visit cultural and art institutions, sports facilities (including sports clubs and fitness centers), cinemas, catering organizations, baths and saunas only upon presentation of a certificate of completion of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 or a certificate of postponed no more than six months ago, a disease caused by a new coronavirus infection, ”Konovalov wrote.

He also clarified that minors can visit the listed organizations only if accompanied by parents or legal representatives who have one of the certificates. “Otherwise, the current regime of sanitary and epidemiological rules remains unchanged and is extended until November 14, 2021,” the head of the region added.

Over the previous day, 29,409 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in Russia, which was a new record since the beginning of 2021. In Khakassia, 137 new cases were registered, six more people died. Against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence, many regions have tightened restrictions and introduced QR codes to visit public places.

Earlier, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said that the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Russia remains extremely tense and continues to worsen. According to him, more than 1.038 million patients with COVID-19 are now under medical supervision in the country. “This is a very large contingent of patients requiring treatment at the same time,” the minister said, noting also that this is “a colossal volume and a colossal burden.”

On October 5, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova reported at a government meeting that the number of new cases of coronavirus detected daily had increased in 67 Russian regions. According to her, the incidence of COVID-19 has increased by almost 31% since the beginning of September this year. She also indicated that 88 cases per 100 thousand people were detected in September, and more than 115 cases since the beginning of October.
