Tuva introduced mandatory vaccination against CORONAVIRUS for certain categories of people, the regional government said.
60% of employees in the fields of education, services, medicine, transport, trade, housing and communal services, energy, culture, tourism, as well as employees of branches of financial organizations, post offices, MFCs, cellular communication centers and unified settlement centers are required to take root. Students and persons over 65 are also required to be vaccinated.
Such a measure was introduced due to the low vaccination coverage of people working in the most dangerous areas for infection, Lyudmila Salchak, HEAD of the Rospotrebnadzor department in Tuva, said at a meeting of the regional operational headquarters.
Executive authorities are required to draw up vaccination schedules, according to which the Ministry of HEALTH of Tuva will travel to enterprises, such an order was given by the acting first deputy head of Tuva, Alexander Brokert. A schedule with the timing of vaccination of workers should also be drawn up by the management of enterprises that are subject to the introduced measures.
