29 new cases of COVID-19 infection registered

According to the operational headquarters, out of 29 new cases, one is imported, the rest are contact cases. 14 people are hospitalized, 15 are receiving treatment at home.

14 new cases were registered in Kazan, four in Naberezhnye Chelny, three in the Leninogorsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan, two in Sarmanovsky, one each in Baltasinsky, Zelenodolsky, Menzelinsky, Nizhnekamsky, Tukaevsky and Cheremshansky regions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In total, 371,870 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 7,003 per day), of which 265,842 received a second vaccination.

In RUSSIA, 8,832 new cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been diagnosed over the past day. The total number of cases exceeded 5 million. 4.7 million people recovered (plus 9020 per day), more than 122.2 thousand died (plus 394 per day).
