100 new cases of COVID-19 infection

According to the headquarters, out of 100 new cases, two are imported, the rest are contact cases. 32 people have been hospitalized, 68 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 47 cases were confirmed per day, in Naberezhnye Chelny - 24, seven - in the Nizhnekamsk region of the Republic of Tatarstan, four - in Bugulminsky, three each - in Zelenodolsky and Leninogorsky, two each - Aksubaevsky, Aktanyshsky, Almetevsky, Vysokogorsky and Zainsky, one each - in Yelabuga and Chistopol regions.

In total, 1,121,845 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 14,100), of which 968,484 received a second vaccination.

In RUSSIA, 29,409 new cases of COVID-19 were detected per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of infected is more than 7.8 million. In total, more than 6.8 million people recovered, more than 217 thousand died. 962 deaths were recorded per day. The day before, 957 people died, which was a record since the beginning of the pandemic.
