131 new cases of COVID-19 infection

According to the headquarters, out of 131 new cases, two are imported, the rest are contact cases. 38 people have been hospitalized, 93 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 59 cases were confirmed per day, 25 in Naberezhnye Chelny, eight in the Nurlatsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, six in Nizhnekamsky, five each in Yelabuga and Leninogorsky, four in Verkhneuslonsky and Zelenodolsky, three in Chistopolsky, two in in Aktanyshsky and Zainsky, one each in Aksubaevsky, Arsky, Atninsky, Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Kukmorsky, Laishevsky and Pestrechinsky districts.

In total, 1,337,780 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan (an increase of 29,014), of which 997,521 received a second vaccination. 21,568 people were re-vaccinated. Another 1,235 people were vaccinated by Sputnik Light (mostly foreign citizens).

The country revealed 36,339 new cases of COVID-19 per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of infected is more than 8 million. In total, more than 7 million people recovered, more than 226 thousand died. 1036 deaths were recorded per day (a new record since the beginning of the pandemic).
