If earlier 500-600 people were vaccinated in the region, now this number has increased to 1-1.3 thousand people per day. This is reported by the publication "Business Online" with reference to the chief epidemiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Lopushov.

According to him, now in Tatarstan, as well as other subjects of the Russian Federation, the Sputnik V vaccine is available, "as the most effective." At the same time, citizens can be vaccinated with one or two of its components. The publication, citing the press service of the Gorzdrav, explains that a vaccination certificate will be generated after receiving the first dose. 

As of August 5, according to the operational headquarters, in Tatarstan, 2.6 million citizens were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, about 2.5 million people completed the full course. The herd immunity level is 4.8%. A week earlier it was 6.9%.
