In Tatarstan, more than 80% of the population was vaccinated against COVID-19

According to the Ministry of HEALTH of the Republic of Tatarstan, more than 80% of the inhabitants of the republic have been vaccinated against a new CORONAVIRUS infection.Among people over 60 years of age, the proportion of those vaccinated is 73%

In the Republic of Tatarstan ,  more than 80% of the population was vaccinated against covid-19 . This was announced today at a press conference in the Tatar-inform news agency by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic Vladimir Zhavoronkov.

“Of the population, we currently have 80.31% vaccinated. 2,446,602 people were vaccinated with the first component, 1,907,542 people were vaccinated with the second one,” he said.

Among people over 60 years of age, the proportion of those vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection is 73% of the corresponding category of the population. 

Zhavoronkov also added that 1,750 children of the republic were vaccinated with the first component of the COVID-19 vaccine.
