Non-working days will not be extended

in Tatarstan The President of the Republic of Tatarstan decided not to extend the non-working days from November 8. The Kazan Kremlin noted that the government is considering a list of additional covid restrictions

“The operational headquarters of the republic reported to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the epidemiological situation. Based on the results of the report, a decision was made not to extend the non-working days from November 8, ”Liliya Galimova, press secretary of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, said today.

According to her, until the epidemiological situation improves, the previously introduced restrictions and bans on the operation of a number of facilities, entertainment and mass events will continue to operate in the republic. 

“We also inform you that, depending on the epidemiological situation, the introduction of additional restrictive measures is not excluded. Their list is now under consideration by the government of the Republic of Tatarstan,” said Galimova.

The non-working period was introduced in Tatarstan from October 30 to November 7. In the republic, according to the decision of the operational headquarters, access to shopping centers, catering establishments and a number of other facilities is carried out using QR codes about vaccination or a past disease. There are other restrictions as well.

As of November 3, it was decided to extend the non-working period in 6 regions of the country: Chelyabinsk, Kursk, Bryansk, Smolensk, Tomsk and Novgorod regions.
