Thanks to the introduction of QR codes in the Sverdlovsk region in November, there was a decrease in the incidence rate by more than 120 times, Dmitry Kozlovskikh, chief state sanitary DOCTOR of the Sverdlovsk region, said at a briefing.

A new wave of growth in the incidence began in the region on September 29, the rise was recorded until early November. During this period, as Kozlovskikh reported, “the average weekly rate of increase in the incidence reached a maximum of 12.6%, that is, every day the increase was 2%. After November 1, we saw a decrease in rates by more than 120 times, and from November 14 there was even a negative trend.”

The authorities of the Sverdlovsk region announced the introduction of a system of QR codes Politics

Such results, according to the chief sanitary doctor of the region, were achieved thanks to the set of measures used - the introduction of QR codes. From October 30, it is impossible to visit catering establishments, shopping malls, shops (except for food and essential goods), leisure and entertainment organizations, sports and fitness clubs in the region without them.

The abolition of this system, according to the authorities of the region, will be possible only with "a multiple decrease in the current level of morbidity." At the same time, some residents of the region oppose the introduced restrictive measures: pickets have been held in the cities of the region more than once, Yekaterinburg residents have sent applications to the prosecutor's office and recorded a video message to President Vladimir Putin.
