According to him, before the ceremony, on May 6, senators will undergo PCR testing for covid-19 .

This inauguration will be Putin's fifth inauguration as president.

In the elections held in March, Russian President Vladimir Putin was supported by 87.28% of voters. The final turnout was 77.49%, with more than 87.5 million voters casting ballots.

In 2018, Putin's inauguration ceremony as President of RUSSIA took place on May 7. According to tradition, the inauguration was held in St. Andrew's Hall in the Grand Kremlin Palace.

5 thousand people were invited to the ceremony, including deputies of the State Duma, members of the government and the Federation Council, judges of the Constitutional COURT, public figures and representatives of the clergy.
