In Sochi, the court considered the first criminal case on the forgery of COVID-certificates

The Khostinsky District COURT of Sochi issued a verdict in a criminal case on false certificates of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.

The press service of RBC Krasnodar said that this is the first criminal case on forgery of certificates of vaccination against covid-19 , considered in the Krasnodar Territory.

A criminal case has been initiated against the HEAD of the general practice department of the City Polyclinic No. 3 of the city of Sochi. He was accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 285 and Part 1 of Article 291.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Abuse of official authority” and “Petty bribery”). The defendant was entrusted with the obligation to enter data on the vaccination of the population in the Uniform State HEALTH Information System (Unified State Health Information System).

In August 2021, the head of the polyclinic department received 8,000 rubles and 4,000 rubles from the residents of Sochi, and deliberately entered false information about the administration of Gam-COVID-Vac without actually carrying out this procedure.

The court found the defendant guilty. He was suspended on probation for 2 years with a trial period for the same period and a fine of 60 thousand rubles.
