More than 177 thousand people fell ill in the North Caucasus Federal District since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic

In the North Caucasus Federal District, on the morning of May 24, 177,182 confirmed cases of CORONAVIRUS were already recorded. Relevant information is posted on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website.

In particular, 54415 - in Stavropol, 33316 - in Dagestan, 24225 - in Kabardino-Balkaria, 20358 - in Karachay-Cherkessia, 16947 - in North Ossetia, 15698 - in Ingushetia, 12223 - in Chechnya.

The growth in the district per day amounted to 135 people. Of these, 44 were identified in the Stavropol Territory, 33 in Dagestan, 16 in Kabardino-Balkaria, 14 in Karachay-Cherkessia, 11 in Ingushetia, 9 in Chechnya and 8 in North Ossetia.

Over the past day, 119 people have recovered from coronavirus in the North Caucasus Federal District. Of these, 32 people - in Stavropol, 28 - in Dagestan, 19 - in North Ossetia-Alania, 16 - in the KBR, 11 - in Chechnya, 7 - in the KChR and 6 - in Ingushetia. The total number of people cured of covid during the pandemic was 169,570 people.

By the morning of May 24, only 4,069 deaths from coronavirus were recorded in the North Caucasus Federal District. The daily increase is nine people. Five of them are residents of Stavropol, three died in Karachay-Cherkessia, one in Chechnya.

Over the weekend (May 22-23), 323 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.
