In the North Caucasus Federal District, the number of people infected with coronavirus exceeded 508 thousand people

As of March 16, 514 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the North Caucasus. This was reported on the Stopcoronavirus.rf website. Over the entire period, the number of people infected with covid in the North Caucasus Federal District amounted to 508,146 people.

The Stavropol Territory (250 new cases) remains in first place in terms of the daily increase in patients. In second place is Kabardino-Balkaria, where 79 more patients with coronavirus were identified. The third line is occupied by Dagestan, where 69 new cases of infection were found. Also, 47 cases were recorded in Karachay-Cherkessia, 29 in Ingushetia, 27 in North Ossetia, 13 in Chechnya.

Over the past day, 2,912 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the North Caucasus Federal District. The leader in the number of recoveries from covid per day was the Stavropol Territory - 1,512 people. In second place is the KBR (475 people), in the third place is the KChR (422 people). Also, 202 people recovered from the coronavirus in North Ossetia, 149 in Dagestan, 121 in Ingushetia, 31 in Chechnya.

Over the past day, ten deaths from covid have been recorded in the North Caucasus. In particular, five people died in the Stavropol Territory and in the KBR.

As RBC Caucasus reported, on March 15, 544 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.
