
Anti-epidemic measures will be strengthened in Russian schools from September 1 to ensure the safety of students and teachers, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said during the All-Russian Parents' Meeting.
“Taking into account the epidemiological situation, appropriate measures recommended by Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of HEALTH will be strengthened to ensure the health of students, teachers, teaching staff,” Kravtsov said.

The Minister also noted that the Ministry of Education has no plans to switch to distance learning.
Earlier, Kravtsov said that the new school year in schools will begin in person. The ministry also supported the initiative on the inadmissibility of forced vaccination or sanctions if it is refused against students and teachers of schools and institutions of secondary vocational education. They also said they would not require schoolchildren to be vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS for admission to classes.
