The North Korean authorities have canceled the mandatory wearing of masks in public places after declaring a "victory" over the CORONAVIRUS, Newsis reports, citing the DPRK Central News Agency (KCNA).

“Due to the fact that all regions of the country have been transformed into a safe quarantine zone, and the level of nationwide quarantine has been lowered, the obligation to wear masks in all areas, except for cities and regions in the border zone and border areas, has been lifted,” the message says.
