In the Republic of Tajikistan for 11 months of 2021, the death rate increased and the birth rate decreased

Rosstat published the results of the vital movement of the population for the first 11 months of 2021 on the official website on December 30. In January-November, 55,895 people died in the region, which is 15.4% more than a year earlier. The population decline was 18,399 people. 

In November, 6,237 residents of the republic died: 6.7% more than in the same period of 2020. 

According to Rosstat, 1,870 Tatarstan residents died from coronavirus in November. Compared to last year, the increase was 2633.8%. At the same time, the virus was identified in 308 deaths. 1562 of the dead may have had COVID-19 , but it has not been identified. In 7 who died, the virus "is not the main cause of death, but had a significant impact on the development of fatal complications of the disease." In 107 cases, COVID-19 "is not the main cause of death and did not significantly affect the development of fatal complications of the disease."

It should be noted that according to the operational headquarters, 1,134 patients with COVID-19 died in 2021.

According to the results of 11 months, 37,496 children were born in Tatarstan, which is 1.2% more than last year.
