According to the decree of the department, mandatory vaccination of employees and students should be carried out by: Kazan Innovation Institute, Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Kazan State Medical University, Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Kazan Cooperative University and Kazan aviation institute.

KNITU-KHTI projector Albina Shavaleeva told RBC Tatarstan that mandatory vaccination of KNRTU employees (with the exception of those who have medical exemptions) is provided for by the order of Acting Rector Yuri Kazakov dated July 19, 2021.

“There is no talk of mandatory vaccination of all students yet, although we inform students and university applicants about the need for vaccination to create a barrier to the spread of a dangerous infection. For students of KNRTU, the possibility of vaccination at the University Clinic is organized. All vaccinated people will receive a QR code, according to which control will be carried out,” she said.

Vice-rector of the KSMU of the Ministry of HEALTH of the Russian Federation Alexei Shulaev shared that 42.4% of employees and 15.9% of students were vaccinated at the university. Now a unified register of employees and students who have been vaccinated is being formed.
