More than 500 Rostov schoolchildren became infected with covid-19 . This was stated by the HEAD of the administration of the Don capital Alexei Logvinenko during a meeting of the operational headquarters to combat the spread of COVID-19.
“To date, 548 schoolchildren and 73 kindergarten students have become ill with CORONAVIRUS. This is less than 1%,” Logvinenko said.
According to him, as of February 1, 325 classes in 76 schools, or 7.9% of the total, have been transferred to distance learning, and 40 groups in 20 preschool institutions, or 3.2%, have been closed in kindergartens.
“From February 5 to February 13, we will announce additional holidays for first-graders,” added the head of the city administration.
