On June 4, 8,565 people were discharged after undergoing treatment for coronavirus. The number of deaths due to COVID-19 over the past day amounted to 399 people.

The total number of people infected in Russia has reached 5,117,274, of which more than 4.7 million have recovered. The total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the headquarters, amounted to 123,436. At the same time, Rosstat counted more than 270 thousand deaths from COVID-19 from the beginning of the pandemic to April inclusive. The difference with the data of the operational headquarters is explained by differences in methodology - the statistical office takes into account, among other things, cases where the coronavirus was not the main cause of death, as well as cases where infection was confirmed after death.
