On July 1, Rospotrebnadzor canceled all measures introduced in connection with the spread of coronavirus. On July 15, the authorities lifted the bans on crossing state borders related to him. However, the agency promised to tighten the restrictions again if the situation worsens. Already on July 18, Rospotrebnadzor reported that the weekly incidence of the virus within the country had increased by 30% compared to the previous week. Experts called the general situation with the spread of COVID-19 in Russia stable. They recalled that regional authorities can impose restrictions on the territories under their control if they deem it necessary.
