
In Russia, 6,088 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected over the past day, according to the data of the operational headquarters, which are published on its website.
The last time more than 6 thousand cases of infection were detected in Russia on November 4. Then the infection was found in 6,149 patients.
Most of the cases during the day were detected in Moscow (1212), St. Petersburg (501) and the Sverdlovsk region (295). The top five for this indicator also includes the Samara (187) and Moscow (185) regions.
During the same day, 1,321 patients with coronavirus were hospitalized across the country. 5088 have recovered and 53 have died.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 21.5 million cases of infection have been registered in the country, including repeated ones. The sick recovered in almost 21 million cases. According to the headquarters, 391.8 thousand people died from COVID-19 .
