More than 5.5 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection detected in Russia

Over the past day, 5,541 new cases of covid-19 have been detected in RUSSIA while testing 147,000 people, the operational headquarters reported on TELEGRAM. The last time the figure exceeded 5.5 thousand on May 3, when 6207 cases were detected.

The leaders in terms of daily incidence were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan and Volgograd Region.

2,845 people were admitted to hospitals, which is 12.4% less than the day before. 136 people died, 9,408 people recovered (+7.9%).

The day before, the operational headquarters recorded 5,011 new cases of infection, 3,248 people were hospitalized. 139 Russians died, 8723 people recovered.
