In Russia, 8 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected per day

Over the past day, 8,138 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection have been recorded in Russia, according to the operational headquarters. The total number of cases reached 4,957,756 people.

Most new cases per day were diagnosed in the following regions:

364 people died per day from the infection (in total, the operational headquarters counted 116,575 deaths), 8972 fully recovered.

The data on the number of deaths of the operational headquarters differ from the calculations of Rosstat, according to which the total number of deaths from infection in Russia approached 250 thousand by April. The agency takes into account those who were diagnosed with coronavirus after death, as well as those who died from other pathologies, exacerbated by covid-19 .
